Hello,
I recently posted a message about an error I get when trying to compile
the openchrome driver (still not solved), and want to follow up with
some more information about my problem.

I have an Asus P5VDC-MX motherboard, which is equipped with the P4M800
Pro chipset. My friend google told me that others also have run into
problems with this board, and found information that it should be
supported by openchrome driver, if I use the latest version (can someone
verify this?). There is no problem to get X to work when using the vesa
driver, but I obviously don't want to use that.

If anyone is using X with a "good" driver with the Asus P5VDC-MX (or any
other board with the P4M800 Pro), I would be very thankful for
information about how you solved it. A thing I've noticed is that the
VGA is listed as "unknown device" in the lspci output. Is that ok or is
it something that should be corrected? I have dumped out the information
I get from 'lspci -vv' and the Xorg log:

http://www.vst.nu/~daffy/p5vdc-mx/Xorg.0.log.txt
http://www.vst.nu/~daffy/p5vdc-mx/lspci_-vv.txt

Thank you in advance for any help!
/D
