Yeah, I tried to look through the source for any hint of interlace 
support, but I'm not familiar with driver source or low-level video. I 
wonder whether the hardware itself supports it.

VT1622, 1623 and 1625 (not VT1621) all support YPbPr and RGB output 
(according to http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/video-display/tv/). Only 
the EPIA MS series (CLE266, VT1622A) seem to have headers on the 
motherboard for actually using these outputs though.

I would think it's possible to get RGB/YPbPr on other EPIA boards with a 
bit of soldering, but you'd probably want a datasheet. I've ordered a MS 
10000E, I'll try to report back on how the headers are connected to the 
chip.
