I found why i got a compile error, I had recently upgraded my entire gentoo
system without realizing i had upgraded to x11-base/xorg-server-1.0.99.901-r1
  Which i think is the Xorg 7.1rc1

I downgraded to x11-base/xorg-server-1.0.2-r3 and downgraded some other stuff
and everything compiled again.
