 re "amateur": yes it was a comment on the chip, and it's not the first
 time I've said it, as you'll note here:

 re VIA/S3: The presence of a credit to VIA/S3 in the openChrome via_mode.c
 is nothing to do with the patch I've posted.

 It's quite true I've not done much with libv's code, but so what? I said I
 cut'n'pasted. There's a VIAFUNC() removed and ViaDebug() changed, so it's
 not absolutely verbatim, which is why I said I edited it.

 @libv: I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean by "you will not go
 around adding the correct copyright statement". Have I failed to meet your
 licence terms and include a suitable copyright statement, or are you
 saying you do not wish to have your copyright noted?
