Hi,
No the board that I can't reproduce it on is a vga out p4m800 motherboard, xv works fine. And yes I got a 2030 but can't find a matching panel. It's some obscure generic chinese manufactured panel.

Ivor has, I think. Some time ago I tried to solve the issue with him,
and he said that he could not reproduce it with his laptop (something
from FSC with VM800). He also bought a broken Amilo Pro V2030 (with
VN800) from eBay to
reproduce the issue, he hoped that he could replace the display with the
one from his other notebook. But that failed.

Actually I would have much more liked it if he had written that, but
since he seems to be very busy and the information is quiet useful I
write this mail :-)
