Hi,
I have applied the same three patches.It helped. I can now play mplayer 
with the option -vo xvmc -vc etc . I obtain the same messages as You, 
but nonetheless the picture in the mplayer window is black. Audio works 
fine.
I have Amilo Pro V2030 with VN800 graphics (Unichrome IGP PRo).
