Thanks for you interest.  Feel free to open a bug for this problem.  I
will probably add a bunch of debug code into svn tonight to see if we
can track down the exact problem.  As starters if you could post your
Xorg log after the hang I would appreciate it.  You can just attach it
to the bug.
