Hi Alistair,

I also own a VIA CN board and I am running Freevo on it. I also want to get TV Out working on a PAL TV. A few days ago I posted nearly the same question on this forum.

I did not get any respone yet. Maybe we should try to fix this one ourselves. Unfortunatly I don't know much about the VIA chipsets, but if the values in the VT1625Table represent register values it should be easy (i think) to add a table row for PAL modes. To determine the correct values for these registers we should install Windows, including the VIA Display drivers (I asume the TV Out works for this driver !!???), and set the TV Out to the desired mode. Then we read out the register values and add them to the VT1625Table. Sounds plausible?

By the way, have you allready tried the drivers provided by VIA? I.e. the one that can be downloaded from viaarena.com. They did not work for me but i am curious if they worked for you.
