OK,
I have addressed in my note only the cases , including myself, where 
there were problems with getting X-windows with via driver to run on 
Unichrome cards.I am happy , that now it is much much faster than with 
vesa driver. But it is clear, that there are always some problems.
I cannot say at the moment , that texture problem is solved or avoided . 
I will check and let You know(for example in fact I have checked all 
ubuntu screensavers but almost all mesa demos), I will check also small 
demo supplied in the bug description.
I do not remember to play any "serious" 3d game  at all. I prefer 
xtetris and xboard.
BTW I was using newest Mesa distribution , build by me from sources, not 
that from ubuntu.

P.S from the description of the bug one can conclude, that the problem 
will be soon solved, or is relatively easy to solve.
