I also uploaded a patched mplayer log.  It can play the videos (albeit with stutter) with XV but with XvMC it barfs with the log I placed in the log gallery area.  I also could not get mplayer to work compiled with the libXvMCW option.  Only if I linked it directly against libXvMCPro did it work at all.
