Comment:

 That's good news!  However, I recompiled both mythtv and xine-lib (3 times
 just to make sure) and made sure they were using the xvmcw option instead
 of libviaXvMCPro directly, and the stutter is still there in MythTV, and
 xine still produces a green screen with any mpeg2 video using xxmc.  A new
 addition now is that when I try -V xv with xine is that it crashes.  I'll
 attach a log from the crashed session.

 So, although I may have direct linked before (though I cannot remember for
 sure) this time I definitely haven't and am getting the same results.

 Any other thoughts?
