ATM the VT1622A does not support 576P which as far i understand corresponds to the SDTV mode 
indicated by VIA in this link (correct me if i'm wrong):

I noticed that the TVOutput option is redundant, since X autodetects the plugged video output.
I also found useful to enable the deinterlacer when showing computer generated images:
Option "TVDeflicker" "2" in the device section as well.

Now i'm experiencing a weird problem: some "old" blocks in the upper right corner of the screen 
appears; it looks like data from the previous frame. Playing the same video in loop, sometime the 
problem happens, sometime not. What could it be?
