Hi,

I am trying to install VIA Chrome9 onboard graphics adapter.

Regarding to lspci it is

?VGA compatible controller: VIA technologies, Inc. Chrome9 HC IGP (rev 01)?

My motherboard is a Biostar P4M900M-M7 SE and I am running Gentoo with new
kernel 2.6.23 on my box.

First I tried to manually install the drivers from SVN ( regarding to the
HowTo at <http://gentoo-wiki.com/Unichrome>
http://gentoo-wiki.com/Unichrome )

I only get a distorted screen with white lines.

So I tried the Overlay experimental ebuild (from openchrome wiki:
e+code+on+Gentoo>
http://wiki.openchrome.org/tikiwiki/tiki-index.php?page=Compiling+the+source
+code+on+Gentoo )

Results are the same :-(

In /var/log/Xorg.0.log I get the error:

?(EE) VIA(0) Unknown Card-Ids (1565|1207); please report to
<mailto:openchrome-users at openchrome.org> openchrome-users at openchrome.org?

Can you please help me?

Many thanks and best cheers

Alexis
