Ditto, I was just wondering why so many people have posted xorg.conf
files where they use that mode ;)

I have not tested with that yet, and as such I do not know how good my
own setup is. Using Freevo however, it looks quite nice and steady, but
perhaps the test will show me differently ;)

Please do reply to the list in the future so that others may comment and
learn from the mails.
