Hello Dan,

> verify that you have the following kernel modules loaded also:
> # lsmod | egrep 'via|drm|agp'
> via_agp 7936 0
> via 35072 0
> drm 62484 1 via

>

they are loaded, now. But that makes no difference, the screen is
not working, yet. But the Xorg.1.log is slightly different.

# dmesg | grep -e drm -e agp
Linux agpgart interface v0.102 (c) Dave Jones
[drm] Initialized drm 1.1.0 20060810
[drm] Initialized via 2.11.0 20061227 on minor 0
[drm:via_initialize] *ERROR* via_initialize called with no agp memory
available
[drm:via_initialize] *ERROR* via_initialize called with no agp memory
available

# uname -a
Linux epia-ex 2.6.21-rc3 #2 Thu Mar 8 17:13:37 CET 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

My kernel is not patched with anything from via's website. Just plain
2.6.21-rc3.
