[Openchrome-users] hangup when killing X - not possible to watch videos in X

Hello,

I successfully compiled the most recent svn checkout of the openchrome
drivers. First of all the specs of my system:

debian sid
kernel: 2.6.21-rc3
xorg: 7.1
integrated graphicschip:

lspci:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. UniChrome Pro
IGP (rev 01)

lspci -n:
01:00.0 0300: 1106:3344 (rev 01)
The whole system is an Amilo V Pro 2055 (and has direct driver support
in via_id.c from the openchrome trunk)

Now to the actual problem: everytime I use ctrl + alt + backspace to
exit X the whole system seems to hang .. even ctrl + alt + del does not
change anything .. the screen simply stays black .. the 2nd problem .. I
cant watch videos in X .. I only get sound and the background stays blue.

I already checked the logs of X .. nothing special in particular .. even
not when the system hangs up.

Any suggestions / ideas?

best regards,
Patrick
