Re: wine, mesa or openchrome problem?
I also must confirm the problem. I'm running debian unstable with a self compiled kernel 2.6.20.4. For the native linux apps dri works out of the box (with Mesa and X-drivers provided in the packages). Let's just say that glxinfo confirms direct rendering and planes fly in flightgear. But when I try to run something under Wine (0.9.31), that needs direct rendering, I get the above-mentioned error (main/renderbuffer.c:2041 etc).
Today I tried to compile the latest Openchrome drivers (X-driver, kernel module and drm) achieving nothing more than the two strange linux consoles in upper 2 quarters of the screen at some point. Wine didn't change its mind (:frown:).
Here seems to be the same problem: [http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=280562].
Has anybody found a reason or a solution for this one yet?
