Here is a patch for a vt1625 720x576 PAL mode, against v.386 in experimental_branch.
I wasn't sure whether this should go into a ticket in trac or not, my apologies if I have posted it to the wrong place.
I'm using an EN12000EG board with a VT1625 TV encoder for a project that I'm working on at the moment, and needed a PAL mode that was able to show the whole screen without overscan. I'm not a tv-out expert by any stretch of the imagination! Some values are copy&paste from the 720x576Over mode.
The 720x576 mode listed in VT1625Modes was not available, possibly because there was no matching entry in VT1625Table.
This mode does present some black border around the image, I'm not sure if that means it should be called 720x576Under instead.
One other person who has tried this patch reported some wavy color when the picture was viewed over composite, but I haven't seen this effect on my TV - any feedback welcome.
This mode has also been tested on an EX15000 board.
Please let me know if there's anything that needs to be corrected, or if there is any testing feedback. I'm on the openchrome-users list.
Thanks,
Daniel.
