[Openchrome-users] problem with Syncmaster wide monitor

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
I will try your suggestions when I get home tonight.
However, I have a few questions that may be coming
from my ignorance in this matter:

Doesn't this mean I cannot run the higher clock?
This is surprizing, as the monitor is advertized to
support 1680x1050 at 60Hz. What am I missing here?
