Which driver are you using now ? Manual build from trunk or 0.2.901-2 
from Fedora ?
The crash is not logged in the log file. Could you try to remount your 
/var/log partition sync to try to catch it (mount -o remount, sync /var/log)

Are you able to reproduce the crash with other applications than tvtime 
? Is it reproducable with all softwares using Xv for example ?
