I am a beginner and I tried to install trunk version of your openchrome
driver. I have problem with this. I have Mainboard Asrock P4 M890 for 478
socket and I would like to have 3D support. If it is not possible, Xv would
be also good. I want to try some TV card on my computer.
If I understand good your manual, module name should be openchrome, but if I
wrote it to the Xorg.conf ( replaced vesa), it did not work. I tried also to
adjust it so, how it is written in this article
http://www.abclinuxu.cz/clanky/hardware/graficke-akceleratory-via, but it
did not work also. I do not understand so good, how to adjust Xorg. conf, to
I can use openchrome. I send my xorg.conf here with.
I do not know, whether it is problem, but when I do make install, I become
libraries have been installed in:
/usr/lib
If you ever happen to want to link against installed libraries
in a given directory, LIBDIR, you must either use libtool, and
specify the full pathname of the library, or use the `-LLIBDIR'
flag during linking and do at least one of the following:
- add LIBDIR to the `LD_LIBRARY_PATH' environment variable
during execution
- add LIBDIR to the `LD_RUN_PATH' environment variable
during linking
- use the `-Wl,--rpath -Wl,LIBDIR' linker flag
- have your system administrator add LIBDIR to `/etc/ld.so.conf'
See any operating system documentation about shared libraries for
more information, such as the ld(1) and ld.so(8) manual pages.

Is it problem, or it is normal?
My lsmod looks after openchrome installation.

I tried also to ask in our discussion and I am not along, who has problems
with Via unichrome card. Could you help me please?
I use Debian Lenny. I thank you in advance.
