That's interesting to know. I'd guess these chips simply
have a register to write to, for configuring whether they give
out composite, S-Video or component, so I'd imagine component
would work. The drivers seem to attempt to support it. That's
assuming there isn't anything special about configuring
component that makes it different from composite and
S-Video (maybe some other chip on the mobo that needs special
set up for component).

I'm very tempted, except that this means buying a second
motherboard, when I've only just bought the first. :-(
