HP2133 - FU346EA
Hi

HP2133, Model FU346EA, Specification (in German, sorry, haven't found it anywhere else) http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/ch/de/sm/WF06b/321957-321957-64295-306995-306995-3687084-3793154.html

Just bought a HP2133, didn't watch out enough so I got the version with 1024x600 resolution and not the 1280x768.... So here the problem starts... The FU346EA (released end of August 08) defaults with the Openchrome driver to 640x400 (vesa as well, the only mode that openchrome and vesa recognizes), and not the 1024x600 mode which is the maximum mode.

Don't know the OpenChrome source enough to hack around this, but if anybody could hint how I could work around this I'd be very happy, because I don't want M$ Vista on the mininote (already wiped it clean and installed Ubuntu 8.0.4)

Happy for any advices from anybody (PS. the Linux VIA drivers doesn't work either with this reolution, I'd be happy just to get the resolution up to 1024x600...)
