 Ok. Forget about panel scale.

 Could you please set for your chipset:

     UseLegacyModeSwitch = FALSE;
  }}}

 Please build/install the latest openchrome driver and enable debug mode.

 Then wait for X will freeze and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file (or
 /var/log/Xorg.log.old after computer restart).
