 Hi,

I've been trying to figure out why I can't seem to get 0.2.904 to work
with my M10k and S-video out. I compiled 0.2.903 and everything worked
fine. With 0.2.904, the screen jumps around, and it seems to paint every
other frame about 20 pixels too high, causing a flashing or jumping
 effect.

I'm still looking into it, but I think it could be this in the logs:

 (II) CHROME(0): ViaOutputsSelect
 (II) CHROME(0): ViaOutputsSelect: X Configuration: 0x04
(II) CHROME(0): ViaOutputsSelect: BIOS Initialised register: 0x07
 (II) CHROME(0): ViaOutputsSelect: TV.
 (II) CHROME(0): ViaModesAttach
 (II) CHROME(0): ViaModesMonitorFixup - Adjusted HSync.lo to 30.000000
 (II) CHROME(0): ViaModesMonitorFixup - Adjusted HSync.hi to 47.250000
 (II) CHROME(0): ViaModesMonitorFixup - Adjusted HSync.hi to 47.500000
 (II) CHROME(0): ViaModesMonitorFixup - Adjusted HSync.lo to 29.049999
 (II) CHROME(0): ViaModesMonitorFixup - Adjusted HSync.lo to 28.000000
 (II) CHROME(0): ViaModesMonitorFixup - Adjusted HSync.lo to 25.000000
(II) CHROME(0): Television: Using hsync range of 25.00-47.50 kHz
(II) CHROME(0): Television: Using vrefresh range of 50.00-70.00 Hz
(II) CHROME(0): Clock range: 20.00 to 230.00 MHz

 With .903 this looks like:

 (II) CHROME(0): ViaOutputsSelect
 (II) CHROME(0): ViaOutputsSelect: X Configuration: 0x04
(II) CHROME(0): ViaOutputsSelect: BIOS Initialised register: 0x07
 (II) CHROME(0): ViaOutputsSelect: TV.
 (II) CHROME(0): ViaModesAttach
(II) CHROME(0): Television: Using default hsync range of 31.50-37.90 kHz
(II) CHROME(0): Television: Using default vrefresh range of 50.00-70.00 Hz
(II) CHROME(0): Clock range: 20.00 to 230.00 MHz

I'm attaching both xorg logs and the xorg conf. I'm using a gentoo system
 currently.

I'll possibly patch if I have the time, but for now I'm just going to
 stick with .903
