[Openchrome-users] VE-900 and Debian 9.3 openchrome getting a blank screen

Hi P Touchman,

I will say that this sounds like vesafb and viafb conflicting with OpenChrome DDX since Debian 9 uses Linux 4.9 kernel.
This has been an issue since Linux 4.5 kernel.
I created a post about this issue since it is a FAQ.

This issue does not affect Ubuntu since it already blacklists the frame buffer device drivers.
Currently, no support for VX900 HDMI inside OpenChrome DDX and the effort to support it has stalled for now.
