Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your reply.

I was hoping there was just a configuration error, also because X does
not seem to find a monitor at all.

Well, if this is the route to go ...

So I set up the Igel for kernel building. I have not done anyhing like
this before so followed the instructions given here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/BuildYourOwnKernel

It took 13 hours to build but eventually the test seemd to be
successful. No error messages but 10 new .deb-files:
linux-buildinfo-5.4.0-51-generic_5.4.0-51.56_amd64.deb
linux-image-unsigned-5.4.0-51-generic_5.4.0-51.56_amd64.deb
linux-cloud-tools-5.4.0-51_5.4.0-51.56_amd64.deb
linux-modules-5.4.0-51-generic_5.4.0-51.56_amd64.deb
linux-cloud-tools-5.4.0-51-generic_5.4.0-51.56_amd64.deb
linux-modules-extra-5.4.0-51-generic_5.4.0-51.56_amd64.deb
linux-headers-5.4.0-51_5.4.0-51.56_all.deb
linux-tools-5.4.0-51_5.4.0-51.56_amd64.deb
linux-headers-5.4.0-51-generic_5.4.0-51.56_amd64.deb
linux-tools-5.4.0-51-generic_5.4.0-51.56_amd64.deb

Could you please point me to some documentation about how to proceed
from here?

On https://cgit.freedesktop.org/openchrome/drm-openchrome/ I found
various tree versions drm-next-5.x and master

also this link

git://anongit.freedesktop.org/openchrome/drm-openchrome

Whether they are relevant for me and if so, how to use them - I do not know.

Thank you.

Regards

Jochen
