It might be ambitious for 0.6, but I'd like to at least throw out there
that a future release could create installable packages.  Starting with
RPMs and .Debs since, let's face it, Linux users are the most tuned in to
open fonts.

Not necessarily automatically from raw OTF/TTFs, but at least letting
librarians build them with a recipe.  I think something like OBS could do
the actual builds.  That would allow OFLB to function as an "upstream"
project to a lot of distributions that currently aren't packaging much.
