I had a look at the lcms source code and I have my doubts in this
statement. Black point compensation definitely does not apply to
absolute intent, but it seems to have an effect for other settings for
the rendering intent. I can't tell how large that effect is. Perhaps it
is negligible, but from looking at the code, I'd say that it has an
effect.
