[Openicc] CMM and threads

Hello,

Just as a small information:
Oyranos has now a front end and a backend interface to switch between 
CMM's. Details will be published soon on this list.

Now my question:
Is some special care necessary for thread saveness in the CMM API?
Can we assume CMM's are at least thread save?
The question arrised, as I thought about passing thread information or 
hooks through the Oyranos API's.
