I have fixed the bug already by myself and submitted the fix to the 
Subversion repository of Ghostscript (and also the Ghostscript-based 
pdftoraster filter). The Ghostscript-based pdftoraster filter I have 
also documented on the OpenPrinting web page about the PDF printing 
workflow:

But anyway, Kai-Uwe, thank you very much for your help. Your hints, 
especially comment #21 
(http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=690101#c21) led me into the 
right direction to fix the bug.
