[Openicc] Communication between Printer Driver and Oyranos

These are explicite configurations, which are support by Oyranos. 
Different driver settings are possible through a data base in Oyranos.
Blind entries in the DB are possible too, even such entries which do not 
count for ICC profile selection  like paper feed.

This is certainly possible. But it might conflict with explicite user 
settings.

However my favourite is a ICC profile with meta tag. Just install the 
profile in the OpenICC profile path and Oyranos is already happy.
A minor update of a printer driver might not change any explicite user 
profile selection.

Thats certainly possible.

The KDE kolor-manager front end to Oyranos is available for explicite ICC 
profile selection for end users. More front ends would be cool for Gnome, 
Xfce, LXDE, ROX, EDE and others.

Oyranos does not need any front end for implicite profile installation 
like vendor profiles with meta tag.

With the implicite selection through the meta tag everything makes even 
more sense. Its automatic and thus more convenient, more flexible, more 
robust, more generalised. A explicite profile selection should be only in
the domain of end users. All other parties should for Oyranos migrate to a 
implicite profile selection. Explicte profile selection is possible as 
well for vendors for a transitional period.
