[Openicc] Funding for CPD from the Color Management side?

Yes but Google has some track record of acquiring people who don't fit with their present world view for the very reason that it needs to be shaken up from time to time. It's a source of innovation. So it's not strictly necessary that they first understand color or its importance to their company and other companies, to know they need someone who understands it to help them better understand the issues.
