Oyranos has device configuration modules, which take care of native 
calibration and device identification. They are typical linked against the 
according device subsystem. No need to burden that work to drivers. 
Drivers need just a way to expose their colour calibration. Thats all.
Thus Oyranos can deliver a robust ICC device profile selection, where its 
is logical and convenient. Of course native system meachnisms are 
prefered where they exist, to keep things simple.
