It appears that the officially promoted VESA way of setting up internal
monitor LUTs takes too long. Now many manufactureres use USB instead.
Indeed a standardised path for getting these calibration information would
be highly desireable. Manually reading OSD is not so nice.
That remembers me on the MCCS (VESA Monitor Control Command Set), which
I would like to see supported inside libXcm. Might be a GSoC project idea.
