[Openicc] [ANNOUNCE] Oyranos Version 0.9.0

The new version of the colour management system Oyranos is released.
Version 0.9.0 is a feature and bug fix release. This version features the 
code generation project from Yiannis Belias GSoC2011. Most direct 
object member manipulations are gone. Thus API and ABI can break. 
However, the modifications of external project code was comparable minor.


Changes Overview:
* convert almost all object types to templates (Yiannis Belias)
* expose most front end object types as stable
* new oyranos-icc colour conversion and 3D LUT + hald generation tool
* simple client side 3D texture colour conversion in image_display
* new oyranos-profile-graph tool, Cairo based 2D grapher
* add oyImage_FromFile() and oyImage_ToFile() APIs
* switch to libXcm 0.5.1 for X Color Management support
* generate fallback ICC profile from cameraRAW matrix
* fix KolorManager crash with CUPS ICC profiles bko#307542
* oymd5icc obtains --short option to use for scripting
* BSD compile fixes (Jean-Sébastien Pédron)
* updated Czech (Milan Knizek) and German translations


About:
Oyranos is a colour management system allowing to share various settings 
across applications and services. The provided interfaces are the 
C library, native graphical front ends and partitial access through 
command line tools. The library is licensed under newBSD.


Known Applications using Oyranos:
ICC Examin, the KDE Kolor Manager, KolorServer/KWin and Synnefo 
configuration dialogs, Krita through libCmpx, the CompIcc colour server 
and more.
