[packagekit] PackageKit: Backend: Smart Package Manager

I think someone should write a PackageKit backend for the Smart Package
Manager.  I'd be happy to work on it but might not have enough free time
before 2008.

I've found Smart to be faster and more reliable than Apt/Yum on DEB/RPM
distributions.  It downloads multiple packages simultaneously and seems to
have an advanced dependency resolver.  Here's the URL:

What do you guys think about this?  Has anyone considered adding a Smart
backend for PackageKit, to be used on both DEB/RPM distributions?
