[packagekit] Exposing apt/yum's build-dep feature in packagekit?

says that the original use case of package catalogs
is to install build dependencies.  When asked
in a comment on
http://blogs.gnome.org/hughsie/2008/06/05/packagekit-bundles/
whether this like apt's "apt-get build-dep" feature,
Richard replied
"Just that’s the plan. Something like: InstallBuildDepends(debian)=packagekit
But we need new API for that. That’s 0.3.x timescale."

Does this mean that packagekit is planning to add
a build-dep interface so that backends can expose
that functionality?
That would be great.
