[packagekit] Newest filter

hi again,
so i'd like to know if the newest filter can be used to filte
new packages, this means that when you update the package
cache and a package is updated or is new to you list it's marked
as new, this means that you can have qt4.1/testing and
qt4.5/unstable both new, it's a field in apt that is not the last
version but if the package is new for you machine..

is that ok to use that to implement the newest filter?
