It fixes half of the problem -- the rendering issue has still not been
fixed, and is discussed in
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=506270

Martin is looking at the problem, as it's probably a firefox
regression (or now it rejects PK's invalid behaviour perhaps) that PK
is just starting to hit. Interestingly, I tried to write a simple
plugin in C to learn more about how plugins work, but hit the same
problem as the PackageKit plugin.

Anyone with firefox plugin experience is very welcome to give us a
hand with this -- beer is promised for the person that finds the bug.
