I'd appreciate if this mechanism would allow to add the default update repo as 
well. You described functionality how to report that a default repo is 
missing some months ago.

It would be great if this would be implemented.

I think figuring out that an update repo is missing and configuring the 
appropriate update repo is a task for the backend.
