We'd need a property to make that work. It's doable for sure, I think
it's more doable in python3 than python2, but I'd have to start writing
code to know for sure.
I kinda like Daniel's idea of using a min-timeout and max-timout command
line, I think that it would be easier to implement, and more flexible.
