The problems were (from my POV and the POV of some others who had contacted
me and even suggested we fork the project to solve those problems) that lots
of RH-centric stuff was in there (which everybody just removed), and that
there was apparently no way to get stuff in that RH did not need (userspace
suspend to name one prominent example). All those problems had nothing to do
with the SCM being CVS.

Well, this was not intended but may come from the fact that i strongly
disagree partly with how stuff went.
I think we can stop the SCM discussion now, since the switch to git already
took place, there is no reason to beat a dead horse.

(And yes, i'm coming late to the party, but given the usual RTT for
discussions on this list in the past, it is not very late ;-)
