I'm fairly certain that the initial color should make no difference when the
alpha is all zero. I tried changing the color in splash->clear in
SplashOutputDev::startPage and as long as the alpha is 0 there is no change in
the output. So why does changing the initial color in tilingPatternFill affect
the output?
