            Bug ID: 90374
           Summary: Install behind firewall fails
           Product: poppler
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Other
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: qt4 frontend
          Assignee: poppler-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: kopmanis at gmail.com

Poppler uses a git:// URL internally for retrieving its test suite, which fails
if you are running behind a firewall. This is when it is being installed via a
*locally-installed* MacPorts (i.e. the bulk of the code is downloaded locally,
but Poppler is asking for additional stuff via git:// which is blocked).

Can the URL be changed to https:// somehow, so this is no longer a headache?
