One more possible improvement from my side
* In constructAppearanceString, we do some raw cstr = GooString::format(...) to
construct an appearance string. How about using (and extending)
AnnotAppearanceBuilder instead? E.g. use existing
AnnotAppearanceBuilder::setDrawColor, add new
AnnotAppearanceBuilder::setTextFont, ...

@Dileep: Will you implement Alberts suggestions? And/or shall I pick up some
items from there?
