Oops, just found this unanswered in my mailbox.  Well, I'm not against 
assigning copyright for this or other patches back to Derek.  However, I 
don't want to require copyright assignment for contributions to poppler, 
so if Derek sees an interesting patch going into poppler, he should 
contact the author to see if that person it interested in assigning 
copyrights.
