I think it should be left disabled for 0.5.x series because I imagine
the current performance is worse than the existing FlateStream, also it
hasn't had nearly the same amount of testing. For 0.6.x it is probably
worth making the default provided we can make it go at least as fast or much
faster. If someone wants to compare the performance that would be good
to :)
