[poppler] building poppler on cygwin -basics-

Hello,

I am trying to build poppler on a cygwin environment with all packages
installed.
if Trying to build from cygwin bash shell
then
   problems with running autogen.sh shell script
elif trying to build from sh /usr/X11R6/bin/startxwin.sh xtern window
then
 I get from output window

Which options I have to pass to configure script to try to build correctly.
Or what I am doing wrong or what I have to know or understand or....
