[poppler] bug in poppler+

This is not a Poppler-specific issue, so you should probably take it
off-list.  You need to figure out why your libiconv doesn't have the right
symbols, and get the right library.  I remember I went through something
similar at one point when trying to compile fontforge, but unfortunately I
don't remember the solution.
